If there were any fears of the luxury real estate market struggling on the ritzy barrier island of Longboat Key, three property listings — worth a combined $64.4 million — cast some serious doubt.

The most recent to hit the market of the trio is the island's third most expensive property on the market now, at 825 Longboat Club Road. It's listed for $18 million, through broker Louis Wery of Premier Sotheby's International Plaza at Five Points office.

Known as Villa del Sogno, the 12,095-square-foot home has bedrooms a plenty for owners, family and friends - six to be exact - as well as six full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms. It's nestled within the gates of the Longboat Key Club and the gates of a separate enclave of eight estates. And it comes with expansive beachfront views.

The second most expensive listing on the island, based on MLS data, is priced at $19.9 million. That listing, under the name Ohana, at 6633 Gulf of Mexico Drive, sits on 2.57 acres on the Gulf of Mexico. It was designed by popular Sarasota architect Guy Peterson.

For the homebuyer looking to nab something similar to a Balinese luxury resort, this property is the way to go. It has three pavilions meant to evoke just such a getaway, and it even comes with a private beach house for guests. Well-known landscape architect Raymond Jungles designed the outdoor space.

Topping the Longboat luxury list is 845 Longboat Key Club Road. At an asking price of $26.5 million, it represents a record listing price for Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte counties.

Like Villa del Sogno, this 19,300-square-foot house is also in the Longboat Key Club. The Serenissima estate, as it is known, has six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, two half-bathrooms and a 10-car garage.
