As the CFO of Venice-based Tervis, Hosana Fieber doesn’t just work with numbers at the drinkware manufacturer, one of the largest companies in the region. She is also involved in the company’s sustainability efforts, works closely with the marketing and sales teams and manages the IT department.
“I get to dabble into every department, and I particularly love that because I get to not only influence other areas, but I also get to learn from them about so many different aspects of the business,” says Fieber, 39. “I can really say I’m a well-rounded manufacturing professional who can pretty much attack things from any side.”
Fieber is a boomerang executive at Tervis: She worked there from 2009 to 2015 as vice president and controller. In 2016 she became controller for Sarasota-based manufacturer ASO Worldwide and was later promoted to CFO there. She came back to Tervis in 2017 as vice president of finance and was named CFO in 2018.
Having her hands in lots of different areas, meanwhile, keeps her busy — and that’s how she works best. She’s also not afraid to say that she thinks the concept of work-life balance is “a fairy tale.” “Sometimes work wins, and sometimes family wins,” the mother of four says. “But there is no such thing as 100% of the time having work-life balance. I make sure I compensate on the family side for the times I have to make work a priority, and vice versa. And that is really what has made me successful.”
Yoga helps her to slow down and put everything in perspective. “I wouldn’t be sane if I didn’t do yoga,” Fieber says. “It’s the only quiet time I get when I’m able to be alone with the mat. It definitely makes me reenergized and gives me that ‘me’ time that I really need.”

What's your favorite board game or video game? Clue
What's the top item on your bucket list? I have been fortunate enough to knock quite a few items off my bucket list. My top item at this point is to do more travel with my husband.
