TAMPA — Hoots, a fast-casual version of Hooters that specializes in chicken wings and tenders, has opened a second location in Florida, expanding to Carrollwood’s Mission Bell Plaza, north of downtown Tampa.
Located at 12817 N. Dale Mabry Highway, the 1,650-square-foot eatery features self-checkout kiosks that allows customers to fully customize their orders, according to a news release. Hoots’ food is also available for delivery via GrubHub, Uber Eats, Door Dash and Bite Squad.
HMC Hospitality Group, the parent company of Hooters and Hoots, debuted the Hoots concept in May 2020 with a restaurant in downtown St. Petersburg, and then opened three more locations in the Chicago metro area. In addition to Hoots, HMC owns and operates 24 Hooters locations in Tampa Bay, Chicago and New York City.
“We are excited for this opportunity to open our fifth Hoots and our second location in Florida,” Hoots Director of Development and Operations Will LeBas states in the release.
