SARASOTA — Analytics software company AdRizer announced Kevin Wall and Ben Barokas have joined its board of directors.

According to a press release, Wall is an Emmy-winning media entrepreneur, early Facebook investor and social activist. He's created and produced large-scale global music event platforms, including Chime for Change, Live Earth and Live 8.

Barokas founded supply-side advertising platform Admeld, which was acquired by Google, the release adds. He also founded content compensation platform Sourcepoint, where he is currently CEO.

"This country relies on the free and open exchange of information that now largely occurs online," says Wall in a press release. "Without viable independent publishers we are subject to only what is fed to us through the feeds of social media, and we've seen how vulnerable that makes us."

AdRizer was founded in 2013. The company is an analytics platform for open-web content publishers.
