Governor appoints area CFO to university board

TALLAHASSEE — Florida Gov. Rick Scott appointed Sarasota-based Medallion Homes Vice President and CFO Charlie Tokarz and former Fiserv. Inc. Technology Solutions CEO Les Muma to the University of South Florida Board of Trustees.

Tokarz was appointed to a vacant seat for a term beginning Jan. 12, 2018, according to a press release. The term ends Jan. 6, 2021.

Muma, of Bellaire, has been a member of the USF Foundation and the USF Muma College of Business Advisory Board. He was appointed to a vacant seat for a term beginning Jan. 12, 2018. It ends Jan. 6, 2023.

The appointments are subject to Florida Senate confirmation.
