Florida worst for unemployed

Florida's unemployment benefits package is among the nation's smallest, according to Daily Finance, a popular financial site operated by AOL.

The site relied on data from the National Employment Law Project to create its rankings of the 10 best and 10 worst states in the nation. Florida was second from the bottom, with Mississippi claiming the list's lowest spot.

Only 21% of Florida's unemployed receive state benefits, according to the study, representing the nation's lowest rate. The maximum weekly benefit is $275, fifth lowest among the states.
