Well-traveled back surgeon joins area health care firm

TAMPA — Tampa-based Laser Spine Institute, which offers minimally invasive spinal surgery, has added board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon Drew Brown to its surgical team.

Brown will serve patients at the company’s Tampa facility, according to a release 

Before joining Laser Spine Institute, Brown worked in Ghana as an associate professor and volunteer spine surgeon, the release states. His surgical career also includes stops in Honolulu and San Diego.
