CLEARWATER— Construction is nearly complete on Marina Bay 880, a $70 million luxury condo complex overlooking Clearwater Bay.

Marina Bay 880 is made up of two-eight stories buildings overlooking Clearwater Bay, according to a statement from the developer Andrus Development. The buildings, which include 87 units, are built on top of a shared 80,000-square-foot parking garage. There are also eight townhomes that line a neighboring marina.

The 87 units range from 1,815 square feet to 3,809 square feet and include anywhere from 173 square feet to 989 of square feet of outdoor space. Prices range from about $750,000 to more than $1.9 million, according to the statement.

Construction began in 2019.

On a follow-up phone call, developer Brian Andrus said he expects the project to be done in mid-August and for the first residents to begin moving in at that time.

He says there “are a good number” of units still available while the statement says there are “several dozen.”

One of the complex’s biggest selling points are extras, Andrus says.

Marina Bay has 69 boat slips, 47 with lifts, boat rentals at the marina next door, Olympic-sized lap pool, private peninsula for walks, sauna and steam room and a putting and chipping green.

Interiors include floor-to-ceiling windows and wide terraces with views of the bay, dual walk-in closets, two-person showers,  hurricane-proof windows and glass doors and climate-controlled storage space.

The complex “is unusually amenity-rich to begin with, but I wanted to provide this to enable it to stand out from among other luxury residential real estate,” Andrus says in the statement. “Exceptional amenities really emphasize the distinctive lifestyle available here.”
