TAMPA — OPSWAT, a Tampa company that specializes in critical infrastructure protection cybersecurity solutions, will relocate its headquarters later this year to SkyCenter One, a Class A, LEED Platinum office building adjacent to Tampa International Airport.
The firm, according to a news release, signed a 125-month lease with VanTrust Real Estate, the building’s management company, for a 31,660-square-foot suite that will house more than 100 of OPSWAT’s Tampa-based employees. It’s expected to make the move in the fourth quarter of 2022.
In the meantime, the release states, OPSWAT employees will continue to operate at the firm’s current East Lake-Orient Park office, which the company obtained through its acquisition of Tampa-based Impulse in 2019.
“One of the biggest challenges after establishing Tampa as our global headquarters was finding an office that would meet the current needs of OPSWAT’s high operational growth and offer the flexibility for future business needs,” OPSWAT Founder and CEO Benny Czarny states in the release. “After much patience and a diligent vetting process, I'm excited to offer our global stakeholders an open, collaborative and innovative space in the heart of one of the largest critical infrastructures in the region to carry out OPSWAT’s mission.”
SkyCenter One offers direct access to TIA via the SkyConnect train, a 6,000-square-foot fitness center, a rooftop atrium and onsite dining. OPSWAT states in the release that it made the move thanks to a “banner year” that saw its revenues grow by 40% and its staff by 200%.
“VanTrust is excited to welcome OPSWAT,” VanTrust Real Estate Executive Vice President Marc Munago states in the release, “and we’re extremely thankful it has selected SkyCenter One as its global headquarters.”
