ArtisTree Landscape Maintenance and Design is making its way up its industry's highest revenue list.

The Venice-based firm recently jumped from No. 110 to 104 on Landscape Management magazine’s top 150 list for highest revenue-generating landscape firms in the country. It had $25.11 million in revenue for 2021.

It's also the only independently-owned landscape firm to make the list in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties, according to a statement. The firm specializes in planned community/commercial maintenance and landscape design/installation.

In the release, ArtisTree CEO Joe Gonzalez says the boost came from an aggressive sales and marketing strategy. It's also been increasing the payroll.

“This past year we stepped up our recruiting efforts to build a robust workforce,” he says. “We’re also continuing to promote our horticultural expertise and superior customer service, both of which are strong differentiators in our local industry.
