Area builder opens fourth office in Florida

SARASOTA — Stevens Construction, a Fort Myers-based firm with offices in Orlando and Tampa, has opened a fourth office in Florida with a location in Sarasota.

The new office reflects client demand and the company’s strategy to broaden the geographical area it serves, according to a statement. The office is located on 1605 Main St., Suite 904.

Stevens Construction already has three projects currently in preconstruction in Sarasota, where it’s assisting client’s with project budgeting, constructability, scheduling and permitting.

Division manager Shaun St. Dennis will oversee the office, the release states. St. Dennis has 20 years of commercial construction experience in Florida, completing more than 300,000 square feet of senior-living, mixed-use, multifamily, hospitality and health care construction projects.

Stevens Construction specializes in providing construction management, general contracting and consulting services to clients and design professionals. Other services include site and design team selection, budgeting, project scheduling, permitting, cost and quality control and warranty service. The company builds commercial, health care and hospitality facilities.
