East Manatee County golf-hotel-residential project underway

COVID-19 delayed but didn't derail a unique golf-resort project in one of the fastest growing parts of the region. "This (area) is where everything is happening," the project executive says.

On March 25, heavy construction vehicles were plowing up the land off Stone Harbour Loop in east Manatee County. It was a thing of beauty to Heritage Harbour Golf Club General Manager Mark Bruce.

Bruce knows the necessary underground utility work is well underway for a project that initially was planned in January 2020, or BC: Before COVID-19.
